A simple & pretty variation on the Puzzle Purse, this heart shaped love token can be made with plain or patterned paper and finished with a ribbon or a wax seal.
Instructions:
Cut a piece of paper to 21cm x 21cm (if you want to decorate it with paint or use fountain pen ink, test your paper first for suitability). I've used vintage sheet music for this example which has a lovely aged appearance.
Optional: make a heart shaped template approx. 10.5 x 10cm or you can just freehand the shape.
Fold your paper as shown in the video below. Take your time and make sure your folds are accurate.
Once all the folding is complete, write a poem or message inside, if you've used patterned paper you can cut out a smaller heart shape from plain paper to write on. Finish with a wax seal, or tie with a pretty ribbon ♡ I've used ribbon from Cambridge Imprint which adds a gorgeous vintage feel.
